Amanda Hocking, who has only had her self-published books on the market for only a year has sold over a million of them already. The 26 year-old has sold most of these in ebook format earning nearly $2 million in royalties.

Ms. Hocking who was at one point turned down by just about all the major publishers has recently sold 4 of her books to St. Martin’s Press after a week-long  bidding war for her books by the very same publishers that rejected her books at the start.
