The first thing you need to-do is easy … open up your favourite word processor program and start writing.
As far as copyright goes, it’s different from country to country.
In the United States:
If you don’t live in the US just call whatever office handles copyright and they should be able to tell you about how copyright applies to recipes.

Copyright protection may, however, extend to substantial literary expression—a description, explanation, or illustration, for example—that accompanies a recipe or formula or to a combination of recipes, as in a cookbook.”
