… “Print of Demand Packages” versus the more flexible “Author based Self Publishing” …
There are a number of Print on Demand (POD) companies that have built their business by selling a variety of “packages” … (which happen to stacked with items you may never need). Unfortunately these POD Packages are set and include a variety of services, whether the author wants (or needs) them or not. They don’t even care if you ever sell any copies of your book because they make their money on initial “package” purchase.
At BookMark Self Publishing, we let you, the author, decide what extra service you need, and charge a competitive price for them as you need them. This way the author can invest all the time and effort they want into their publishing project. If the author does not want to do certain aspects of the publishing production, that’s where we step in to help.
The more work the author can do on their publishing project, the more money they will save on their total publishing project. If the time and effort is too much bother to the author BookMark Publishing is happy to take over certain aspects of the project. We recognize that sometimes a person’s time is move valuable doing other things, that’s the reason we offer a variety of pre and post production services.
